Electromagnetic Field opens in a little under a month! We’re busy planning tents, arranging the map and trying to fit hundreds of talks in.

There’s some things we need you to do, so…

Pre-order your Tildagon badge

Every EMF has a custom electronic badge designed to encourage experimentation at the festival. It has strange apps that play games, interact with things around the site, and occasionally do something useful. You’ll also find other attendees selling custom ““hexpansions”” to plug in - adding anything from GPS to googly eyes.

Since 2024 our badge has been the Tildagon, which is designed to be reused and upgraded at future events. This year we are introducing new add-ons to transform it into the Spaceagon, as well as releasing a keyboard hexpansion.

You must pre-order your Tildagon or Spaceagon upgrade kit. We will be be closing orders in the near future, and they will not be available on-site.

The Tildagon badge is an optional extra - you do not need one to enjoy yourself at EMF, but there may be things you cannot take part in at the festival without one.

Help our scheduling robot

The talk and workshop line-up is now live!

We’ve got hundreds of amazing talks and workshops and we need your help to schedule them - favouriting things in the line-up helps our giant scheduling robot put them in the best place at the best time.

There’s still more to be announced over the coming weeks - family workshops, music, and hundreds of art installations.

We will shortly publish details of how attendees can add their own things to the schedule, to let others know about what’s happening in villages and around the site.

Family workshop submissions close Friday

We’re still accepting Family Workshops for a few more days! If you’ve got a great idea for a drop-in activity for our smaller attendees submit it to the Call for Participation before the end of Friday 19th July.

Decorate the space lounge

In keeping with our SPACE! theme the lounge will be a galaxy of lanterns and art.

We’re looking for things that glow, lanterns that hang, and artwork to occupy the space. Our latest blog post has all the details on how to help fill the lounge with stars.

Transfer your tickets!

If you bought tickets for other people, please transfer them!

This will ensure they can favourite talks, enter workshop lotteries, buy their own badge, and get all the information they need to prepare for EMF.

To transfer tickets go to your account > tickets then click ““transfer”” and fill in their email address.
